Design a food kiosk
Design a 400 square food kiosk .
Choose the kind of food you will serve and study all the requirements to make this a functional attractive space .
You have to draw a very detailed plans and elevations . This should show all the skills you learn through out the semester.
Problem solving, knowledge in cad . great quality drawings that show your ability to design and draft.
This will count for 1/3 of the total grade for the class. You have to work outside the class . the final presentation will look great if you spend 20-30 hours on this project.
First step is research existing kiosks and see how they are designed and take photos and draw quality sketch with measurements. How big is a shelf and how much space you need fro food prep? Where do you place the cashier .etc.
Second draw a detailed plan that deals with all the challnges.
Third prepare a final presentation that conveys your ideas and inventions. Don't forget signage and you can use color pencils on your drawing to show materials and finishes.
Fourth print on 24x36" your drawings with clear notes and label to scale and with high quality line work .
Start printing a week before so you have time to make corrections. You are presenting in front of a panel of judges. No late work will be accpeted
